Why buy when you can build one yourself? Aurora is an open source project, that lets users assemble and program their own USB-powered hardware mixer.
From the looks of it, it seems to be a simple hardware mixer that works with Ableto, and has a lot of neat lighting effects. The video demo on their site shows it in action, playing techno/house music. Without jog dials, it would be a bit hard to use with programs like Traktor, but I suppose that isn’t the point. Either way, a neat concept.
